Yup and they are equally bullshit. If he wants to get old and still win all the things, that’s his right. If the other skaters are so great, let’s see them surpass him, especially as he’s a pariah now.

Oh god, I agree with you on confessions like this. Not even just with Plushenko, the Lysacek one even annoyed me, and I greatly dislike him. If skaters want to continue on, even at the risk of killing their knees, it is in their right to compete (despite how heartbreaking it may be, I worry all the time for Plushy ;___;). I can understand if someone wishes for one to retire because of health reasons, but flat out just not liking a skater wishing for them to retire so they’ll be out of X skater’s way is just bloody annoying. OP needs to realise Plushy will compete no matter what they want him to do. dealwithit.gif
